Alright guys! The exams are coming, so I decided to post this! Has been on my blog for ages, but guess most didn't catch it. Ways to relieve stress/anger: - Punch someone, or something (eg your pillow).
- Scream. So what if it's barbaric? Who cares?
- Daydream and build some complex fantasies. They always help in relieving stress.
- Go hiking! Guys, let's go for a tree-top walk! Stop vetoing such a brilliant idea!
- Read. Yes, read and get yourself lost in a fantasy world, and read about others' miseries and forget about yours.
- Be cynical, 'coz when you are cynical, you will never believe you can be stressed.
- Help me clean up my room. This is by far the most effective one.
- Listen to music. Avoid 'emo' songs, or face the additional fear of feeling much worse than before.
- Don't drink coffee, according to 'experts'. But drink coffee nevetheless, 'coz it's nice to drink.
- Play some games. The best games to play would be the violent shooting games. They are so very fun to play when you are stressed.
- Engage in sadistic activities. But please don't take it out on real life people or objects. Please stick to non-living objects like your pillow (my favourite) and your bolster (my second favourite).
- Talk to me, but please catch me in a good mood. I will then be willing to entertain you with stupid nonsense, or just listen to you.
- More typical advice includes writing your frustrations out on paper then dumping it into some clear glass. Doubt it will work, but you can always try.
- Read satires. They are just fantastic stuff that will cheer you up immediately (well, it worked for me).
- Coop yourself up at home to study. Have you heard of reverse psychology? Perhaps one can trick the mind into believing that it's a good remedy to stress.
